Refund and Dispute Policy

My Tack Swap, LLC Refund and Dispute Policy: At My Tack Swap, we strive to ensure a secure, fair, and satisfying experience for both buyers and sellers in our community. Understanding that disputes may arise, we have established a comprehensive Refund and Dispute Policy. This policy is designed to protect our users and provide a clear process for resolving issues that may occur during transactions.

Refund Policy Eligibility for Refunds:

Items not as described: It is the responsibility of the buyer to ask questions and request additional photos. Refunds will not be granted unless item received is clearly not the item in the photos.

Non-Delivery: If a buyer does not receive an item, it is eligible for a refund.

Refund Process:

To initiate a refund, buyers must contact the seller within 3 days of receiving the item (or within 7 days of the expected delivery date in cases of non-delivery) to attempt to resolve the issue directly. If the buyer and seller cannot reach a resolution, the buyer can file a dispute with My Tack Swap within 7 days of their initial contact with the seller. All refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

Dispute Resolution Policy Initiating a Dispute:

Disputes should be filed only after the buyer and seller have attempted to resolve the issue directly. To file a dispute, users must submit a detailed report to My Tack Swap, including evidence of the issue (e.g., photos, messages) and any correspondence with the seller.

Dispute Review Process:

Upon receiving a dispute, My Tack Swap will act as a neutral moderator to review the evidence, evaluate the case, and make a fair decision based on the policies and information provided. Both parties will have the opportunity to present their case and evidence. My Tack Swap may request additional information from either party if necessary.

Resolution: Decisions made by My Tack Swap will be final and binding. If a dispute is resolved in favor of the buyer, a refund will be issued as per the Refund Policy. If a dispute is resolved in favor of the seller, no refund will be issued.

General Guidelines: We encourage our users to communicate openly and work towards a mutual resolution. My Tack Swap's dispute resolution process is designed as a last resort. Users are expected to provide accurate and honest information during the dispute resolution process. Misuse of our refund and dispute policy may result in account suspension or other penalties.

Payment Processing: All transactions are processed through Stripe, a secure payment platform. My Tack Swap, LLC adheres to Stripe's policies and guidelines for payment disputes and fraud prevention.

Additional Notes: Buyers and sellers are encouraged to review Stripe's policies, as they pertain to payment disputes. My Tack Swap, LLC reserves the right to update this policy as necessary to reflect changes in our service or legal requirements.
